The Alternative Proms Concert by British Business Club Düsseldorf took place at Stilwerk Concert Hall, Düsseldorf, Saturday, 30 August 2014 and featured Orlando Schenk & Sandra Nakhosteen of Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
The excellent Orlando and Sandra topped the bill at what was to be a very successful event, our first in co-operation with the British Business Club and British Women’s Club. Originally, our very own Karin Brandt (soprano) and Gero Natzel (violin), of Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft Duisburg, were billed as the support act prior to the event. By popular request, however, Karin and Gero also provided us with an unexpected grand finale. Brilliant. See for yourself (smartphone clip by Iris Tonks).
